On my HP zd7260, the power connector on the notebook is short circuited. The connector, when looking from within the computer, is burnt out and smokes when the AC adapter is connected and I am trying to boot it up.

Is there a easy way to fix this without getting a new motherboard? Where can I get a new motherboard?

Will a Docking Station fix the problem?
