    HP ze2000 VS COMPAQ M2000Z

    Is there a large difference between the HP ze2000 and the Compaq M2000Z, or is it all just looks? Does the HP get better tech support than the Compaq or are the the same? Do they share the same speakers with each other (and the HP dv1000/Compaq V2000)?

    No difference in tech support or quality. The only difference is the looks & in some cases the HP have extra multimedia buttons & the quick play feature(I dont think the ze2000 does).

    It just comes down to whether you like the silver Compaq design or the HP colors. Also if you configure it on HPshopping, certain components are cheaper to upgrade for both HP & Compaq.

    The Ze2000 doesn't have Quickplay or the media buttons, though I think it should.
