Hey, I just got this notebook about a month ago and it came stock with 512mb ram. I quickly upgraded one of the slots to 1gb and somewhere, there is 256mb more. Does anyone know if there's any way to get access to the other slot so I can take that 256mb out and put in more? Anything helps, thanks.

    Go Patriots!

Remove the four screws along the bottom rear edge of the notebook (only 3 are relevant, I never remember which three), open the screen all the way and gently remove the bezel above the keyboard, remove the four screws securing the keyboard, and the SODIMM slot is under the keyboard. Remember to unplug and remove the battery before doing any of this.

i know it's been a while since this post has been active... but can someone be more specific on which screws to remove... i was checkin it out and i dont want to screw anything up... also, on crucial.com it says that the stock 256mb ram is "non removable", but i'm guessing that it's wrong?? i just want to toss in another 1gb stick of ram so i can have a nice 2gbs, is that possible?

Paul, I'm also thinking about replacing one of my 256mb memory sticks with a 1gb. I'm thinking about putting this in my zv5220us notebook. I was just wondering how much of an improvement you got when you went from 512mb to over 1250mb?
