I recently bought my HP zv6000 about a month ago, but now when I open my computer via the latch, it squeaks. Is there any way I can correct this without damaging the notebook? I've already tried adding a tiny amount of WD-40 to the notebook's latches, but seems to have had no effect. In addition, how do you know if the hypermemory is active/inactive on the notebook? Is there any way to change the amount of RAM it borrows from the system RAM, or is it set at a certain level?

    Thanks

Try silicone spray, you should'nt use wd-40 as it has very little actual lubricant in it and it will rust metal. you should be able to set the ram amount from inside the bios, but I think the intel integrated cards dynamically assign ram to a point..
