    HP zv6000 shipped in 9 business days

    According to techdepot.com a customized HP zv6000 usually ships in 9 business days. This is radically less then the estimated shipping times of HP and Costco, not to mention that the laptop costs a lot less from techdepot.

    I have already ordered a zv6000 from HP expected to ship May 18 and I really can't afford to have the laptop ship too much later than that because I will be leaving the country shortly after I expect it to be delivered.

    Is it possible for this to be a error on techdepot's behalf? Does it make sense to cancel the order with HP and place it with techdepot?

    I ordered the R3000 via Techdepot (well, I had to configure it in the Office Depot store to qualify for the rebates, but it was on Techdepot). They estimated 9 business days to ship, and it took 18 business days, actually. That's why you see the ZV5000 in my signature. I got tired of waiting, cancelled the order, and bought a refurb online for less money.

    However, some people were receiving their R3000's in less than the 9 days estimated, so YMMV. Good luck.
