The upgrade to 2007 Basic doesn't include Power Point. I must pay another $100 or so just to have it included in Office 2007 SBE? Lame!
I only really need Word and Power Point from 2007 (for school). I don't need Excel and Outlook.
Office 2007 Home and Student version does include Power Point, and it seems to be at the bottom of the Office 2007 lineup, so I wonder why Basic is the choice of upgrade.
Anyone know if it would be possible to receive Home and Student for the upgrade?

The home and student version of Office is a special version that doesn't give you a license to use the software in a "commercial" environment, but does allow you to install the software on up to three machines. Their is no upgrade version of office home and student version, so I would just wait until Jan. 30, and buy the new version in store.

If you're currently attending college, most schools offer a "student" version of Office at a large discount.
