Pretty typical HP.

One of the reasons why my HP system will be my first and last HP system. Not just because of the poor build quality or the fact that you only get to choose from Windows... but because of the Indian tech support!

HP is the only company I deal with right now that has an outsourced call center. I will never deal with it again.

 

Aside from the BBB, heres another way to file a complaint against HP if you live in California:

They'll go to the media if its bad enough or HP screws you around enough

 

Wow that sounds like times when I used to use tech support as well, since hten I learnt to use online researches, like this forum and google, for everything. I wonder if this will backfire on HP when Dell gets its act together to be mroe customer friendly and when Acer/Lenovo catch up on the US market.
