    HP, suddenly stopped, went dark??

    My Pavillion dv8-1000 suddenly went dark while watching a movie. It will not work at all, either plugged in or after battery has charged overnight?? It's like the light bulb suddenly went out! Anybody have the same thing happen or have any ideas? Thx
