this is kind of short question - i have an offer here for the 8510p model for just 5000pln = 1379,8813 EUR = 1981,2181 USD = 983,6517 GBP = 2289,6917 CHF
including taxes and shipment.
the same shop offers notebook ram (2 sticks of ocz 667MHz model, 2GB per stick) for roughly 400,00 PLN = 110,3905 EUR = 158,4974 USD = 78,6921 GBP = 183,1753 CHF (kingston and other manufacturers also come at that price max)
but, here's the problem, they have no option to mount the ram themselves (yeah, i'm a lazybones), so my question is this - can you upgrade the ram without losing the warranty?
and furthermore, are those ram slots accesible from one covered side or would i have to disassemble the unit myself to get the access to both slots?
-
Both slots are accessed from one panel at the bottom of the notebook, and doing this yourself will not void the warranty so long as you do not break anything in the process.
