This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     As the title says, there's an error with HP's website, making all laptops $1111.00. Even the HDX! Probably just maintenance, but they should really take down the site instead of leaving it public:

    Seeing how they won't even honor coupon misprints, I'm guessing this wouldn't fly either. But it's always worth a shot.

    I just checked: if you actually click on the links, HP's new flash based pages give you the correct price.

    Still wondering if this is maintenance or some stupid programmer having some fun...maybe a Halloween trick?

    I'd think its a stupid programmer being stupid. BTW, from a business perspective, I could not justify closing down the site and losing potential customers just for this.

    Yeah, but it was 1 AM, and I don't see many people shopping for laptops at 1 AM...

    Despite this little error, I think that the new site looks pretty slick if you ask me.

    It's certainly a lot nicer than the old site :)
