    Hello!

Ive just had my notebook repaired and during the on-site repair I took some pictures :)

Im very sorry for the quality, but it was quite dark and even higher ISO did not help :(

Motherboard. Top view as it sits in the notebook.

keyboard taken off, Ati HD2600 on the right, CPU on the bottom and fan with radiator on the left.

    more taken off ;)

all plastics, apart from the bottom taken off.
The question why the left side where the palm of the hand sits is quite warm is still not solved as this is the space where the card slot is. I believe that this is the CPU generated heat absorbed by the metal casing for the slot.

Heat sink taken off or not installed yet ;) picture is upside down - graphic card is close to the top of the computer (between presentation and mute buttons)

Closer look on the HD2600 :) Is that MXMII?? I dont know how it looks like but it took the guy like 10-15 sec to move it from one board to another and I didnt get a chance to take a shoot of gfx only :/

crop of the fingerprint sensor (from its back) this thing is actually so tiny (1x2cm or sthing like that) that's why i did the picture.

I hope it will be useful to somebody. I know how to disassemble the thing as well :D

Nice. Too bad you couldn't nudge the repair guy into setting your HD2600 back to ATI stock values.

No chance to do that... He would have to have the BIOS for it...

Thx U. They are a great set of picture :)

The graphic MXM card look alike one on the NX9420 and NW9440. Hope the magic will allow it to be upgraded in the near future ;)

I think if you are interested, you may like to look at http://www.mxm-upgrade.com for more detail.

Nice! If thats the Intel 3945 card under the palmrest that would explain why its hot under there. They are know to run hot compared to the cooler running 4965 cards.
