I have a HPDV6-2173cl with an HDMI port. I will have a cell phone with a HDMI port enabling mirror mode too a TV.

I need to know if I can mirror out of the phone into my HPDV6-2173cl laptop display via its HDMI port.

The laptop's HDMI port is output, not input. I dont honestly know of any laptops that would accept external video input, without some sort of tuner or video capture card.

Is there an expresscard or other device I could use?

    Good lord! Thanks guys.

I'll confess. With cell phones coming out with mirror mode I want to display my phone screen on my laptop. This will be like tethering, but not tethering, eh?
