    Hi

    I have the Hp Pavilion 9500 laptop - The AMD (64) TL-58 1.9GHz version.
I Want to know if its possible to successfully put Windows Xp on it with all
relevant drivers.I tried once but couldn't find all the right drivers ?
Also took a backup copy of the drivers via driver detective in vista, made into an exe file,
then tried to run in win xp,but didnt really work properly ??
Or to strip all the unwanted software from the recovery discs that came with
the laptop to leave only a bare version of Vista + all drivers ?
I know it can be done ,I just need pointing in the right direction ;)
Thanks for reading,I look forward to any posotive replies :D

Check this out for XP with the AMD, it used the thread for the Intel and it worked great: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=200763
You will need to use nlite to burn a new XP disk with SP2 and the SATA drivers slipstreamed into it. This will get you started (Your 9500 will then recognize the SATA hard drives) from there you will have to download all the drivers from HP or another site like http://driverzone.com/

For Vista get a Vista install disk and use the serial on the bottom of your 9500 case. I didn't use the restore disk because it has all the HP bloatware crap that will significantly slow down the already slow Vista.
Good luck, post back with any questions.
