    Hi

Does anyone know, firstly of any HPDV range of laptop that are installed with 64bit Vista on the AMD version ?
Secondly does anyone know the cost of a Vista 64bit recovery disc for the AMD processor TL-58 1.9Ghz laptop and if so where to buy it from as I know one exists for the Intel version ?
Ive tried HP website & they weren't very helpful.
Ive also tried a retail version of Vista 64 + 32 bit,but some of the drivers are missing & cant be found, resulting in a half usable laptop.
There has to be an HPDV laptop model that comes with this software pre-installed.
Otherwise HP have seen to it that Im stuck with out being able to upgrade.
    Thanks.

If the original OS was XP and you are wanting to upgrade to Vista with a Vista recovery disk, I don’t beleive HP will send you one because the original OS was….. XP. However you can look here to be sure:
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...c=us&product=3562430&lang=en&docname=buh07342

If though, you have a copy of Vista 64 (any version, what ever you chose) it should install on your notebook without issue and you should also be able to find all the correct drivers. Install the OS and then download the most current drivers from here :
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&os=2100&product=3562430&

    After OS Install do:
BIOS Update F.32 if not current

    Install:
    Nvidia Chipset drivers
    Nvidia Video Driver
    Conexant Audio Driver

    Conexant Modem Driver
    Network Interface Card (NIC) ??
Wireless Driver (Broadcom without Bluetooth / HP Software support with Bluetooth )
    Synaptics Touchpad driver
    5n1 card reader driver
    Quick launch buttons

Firmware update for Optical drive if applicable
