Hello all;
I can play HL2, Doom 3 or Far Cry fine with no issues if it will boot up the game! I get a gray screen when starting,then can hear some audio from the set up screens, but the video is locked up, have to power down then up. This happens probably every other time I try to play.
I have the latest omega drivers for the ati x600, 2 gig of pc3200 ddr2 ram, 128 mb video ram slightly overclocked at 412/540mhz.
I have gone back to strictly factory drivers and no overclocking with no change. At the lowest video settings in the games and in ati control there is still a problem.
I have updated all the drivers from the HP site. The BIOS update, sp31537,did crash windows, went into safe mode then restored to previous.
Any ideas?
