So, I haven't used my new dv6500t that much since I got it two weeks ago ( still waiting for my Anytime Upgrade Disc). Yesterday I was browsing the internet on it for about 15 minutes and when I was shutting it down I noticed that my Logitech Mouse stopped working. I didn't think much of it, and decided to check it out today. I logged on to Windows and discovered many errors. I opened up the Device Manager and saw that the Quickplay buttons, USB, Modem, Ethernet, Sound Card, Wireless, and something else had an error that said "Could not load driver" or something like that.

I have a bad feeling about this....

Try updating the drivers for each one.

If updating does not work, you could always do a recovery...though it would take some time.

None of the driver updates worked, so I'm doing the recovery now.

Sounds like a bad image. I have seen where installing chipset drivers on a preload actually caused every device listed under device manager to have errors.
