    Hello,

I have a Pavilion DV6-6040sf notebook, with AMD P960 (quad), 8gb memory and original 750gb hdd. This one is really slooooooow, and i try to swap it with my Crucial C300 SSD.

But i have hard drive error (3F1) at post, and only thing i can do it's press escape and chose boot (F9) then internel hard drive. When i'm on Windows, it's work perfectly. Do you have any idea? I have the latest bios F.21.

    My questions:

    - Is there any custom bios for this model?
    - Can i activate UEFI? (i try to install HP UEFI and update UEFI but still legacy bios)
    - At least, an idea to boot normaly?

    Thanks a lot!!!

PS: i'm french sorry for my bad english
