This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hardware CMOS reset on presario 2100us-db954a?...

    Is there a way to reset the CMOS on the Compaq Presario 2100US-DB954A thru hardware, or is there a way to reset it using a certain keyboard key combo?... Having problems with display, screen not viewable, and if I could reset it to default cmos settings, that would eliminate possibility of it being set to external display, and also eliminate other possible problems... if there is a jumper like on desktop pc's, that would be simple, but I do not know if there is a jumper or where it is at... any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance, and have a GREAT week!!!...
