I have a Dv9535nr. I know i can upgrade the cpu & hdds, but I am wondering if HP or anyone else offers a 8600 GT upgrade over the 8600 GS it came with.

Why, if there is a 9000 out there with a 8600 gt you should be able to put it into any 9000 with no problem.

The problem is that the graphics card is not modular, they cannot be swapped. At all. Unless you want to buy a new motherboard while you are at it.
