I have a AMD Turion 64 Mobile ML-32 and I'm thinking of getting the AMD Turion 64 Mobile MT37.

Has anyone changed the cpu in the dv8000 yet?
How difficult is it to do it?

    Thanks!

There are known successful upgrades of v2000z and l2000. I can see no reason why you will not succeed since dv8000z uses the same chipset. Look at this link but there may be others. You can find further info on AMD's forums.
