hi, i was on the hp site and found that the hdw was finally updated with a 1080p screen and the possibility of an x7900, i dunno what else?
i was wondering i people had any thoughts about, or own the new version or the old one...do you find it that difficult to transport, how is the 1080p screen?
would you go with an x7900 over a t7800 for 350$ more, is there any performanc eincrease if you dont game, or just one second like in super pi results...also consumes more power...
what do you think batt time is like.
the update also offers dual 12ogb hdd at 7200rpm...finally.
i was wondering what people thought of this system,
    this was my ideal config.
    t7800
    ultimate 64bit
    4gb ram
    hd dvd rom.
    wireless n
    240gb hdd...2x120gb at 7200rpm
    wuxga 20.1inch
    fingerprint, webcam...
and all the rest pretty standard.
what are your thoughts on the graphics card in this notebook...i dont game.
how do you think this system will perform.
    how is build quality.>
    thanks a lot

Both the T7800 and X7900 are overkill for most tasks. There's no way I would shell out $250 to upgrade a processor by 0.2 GHz.

I wish they would offer the capability to connect a HD device use the LCD. For example, I wish I would be able to connect my PS3 up to a HP laptop via the HDMI port and play it using the LCD, that would be sweet.
