My headphone jacks will not work after recovering the system. I plug headphones in and sound still keeps coming out of the speakers. I can't find options for the jacks themselves. Anyone else had the same problem and know the fix?

This must be a configuration issue somewhere. None of the front jacks work and they did right before recovery! I cannot believe it. Also The Built in mic doesn't work anymore either no matter what I adjust.(Went through all mic input volume and device adjustments available.) This is BS.

I think I may have the same problem as you. Try turning off the computer, plugging in the headphones, and then turning it on. If it works, congrats. Mine is a little finicky sometimes, as it sometimes has the audio problem and sometimes doesn't. If it doesn't work, sorry, try calling HP Support.
