Well it seems 3 months after using external speakers, my headphone jacks have become somewhat sloppy. Funnily enough I have never had this happen on an MP3 player, which must go through 5+ remove/inert cycles a day at minimum..

Is there any fix for this or will I need a new soundcard? I am well aware of the USB options available but don't really want one hanging out of my laptop.

    Thanks.
