    Hi,

I'm having a bit of an issue with my playback on my headphones. The sound has recently become muffled and distorted and sometimes there is no sound at all.

This occurs when I'm playing any media, films, itunes etc but all the actual laptop sounds, eg error message beeps, start up sounds are all fine?

The headphones are ok as they work in my Ipod etc

    Really confused, can anyone help?

I've got a Compaq Presrio A900 Notebook, VISTA Home Premium

    Any help/advice would be appreciated
