I bought a new HP 2408h external monitor to my HP 8510p laptop, connected to each other through HDMI-HDMI connection. Everything works, but all the
sounds are going through the monitor's speaker and when I plug my Sens HD 595 Headphone to my laptop or to my monitors jack output, there is no sound.

    Can you help me here?

    Thanks in advance.

    Bests,

Goto into the control panel (classic view) and look for the sound option. In here you can specify which device you want the sound to come out of/set defaults so that it always comes from the correct place. On my 8510p I've selected the Speakers:soundMAX Integrated Digital HD Audio option in order to have the sound coming from either the laptop speakers or the headphone output on the laptop.

Not sure why the output on the monitor didn't work though, maybe there's an option in the monitor settings somewhere that activates this.
