    Hi everybody.
I bought my laptop (dv2700) in the States and brought it with me home to Sweden.
Problems occurred and with the help from HP support in Sweden I got the motherboard replaced and then subsequently I got my OS reinstalled since the problems where still occurring.

I sent the computer in with Vista Ultimate 64 and got it back with Home Premium 32... This is apparently because they didn't sell the dv2700 in Sweden with Ultimate or 64 bit... So I couldn't get my PAID for OS installed on my Laptop. Thankfully I still had the back up activation thing with ABR and installed a clean copy of Vista Ultimate 64 and everything worked tip top.

So this is just a heads up to people buying to take "home" that you should check if the computer exists in your country with the OS you are purchasing for it.

    Peace out
    /Pbottie
