    Hello to all .

I am new to the forum and could use some help or advice regarding my HP laptop. Several of my keys stopped working unexpectedly. No spillage or any other damage occurred before the keys malfunctioned as far as I'm aware.

    The keys n b 5 6 7 .

Laptop guarantee is up and will struggle to afford repair costs.
Can I reset something or fix it myself?

    Thanks in advance guys.

You can get a new keyboard off of ebay for under $50 normally. Keyboards are generally east to replace.

I had some issue like that in the past and I was able to fix mine by opening it up and cleaning it out thoroughly. If that doesn't work, I would attempt replacing the keyboard as altec mentioned above.

Yes, cleaning first, but you probably want to check the connection of the current keyboard as intermediate step before buying a new one (and I'd shoot for under $30 on ebay). You do use an external keyboard for the time being, right?
