    Thanks guys,

    Specs:
    - AMD Turion(TM) 64 X2 Dual-Core TL-60(2.0GHz/1MB)
    - 15.4" WXGA BrightView Widescreen (1280x800)
    - 256MB NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) Go 7200
    - HP Imprint Finish + Microphone
    - FREE Upgrade to 1024MB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm)
    - FREE Upgrade from 60GB 5400 RPM to 80GB 5400 RPM

It came down to the AMD over the intel because I'm thinking of doing some gaming in the future...and the x2 edges out the core duo slightly in this department from sources i've read.

I can't wait unit it ships!

From what I've read the GPU - aka "the Video card" on most systems is going to be the limiting factor over one cpu to another if the cpu's are anywhere close in specs, and I think you have to have a super fast gpu (7800/8900 series)? or SLI setup to reach that limit.

If you're "gaming" the 7200 is on the low end....

It's rare a CPU would be a limiting factor in gaming - your GPU will have a much larger impact. Your Go7200 will be fine for some gaming but lacking for others - care to share what games you're interested in?

I understand the gpu is going to the most important component in gaming, however, I am not a serious gamer by any means...I would like to play WoW and the GTA series titles. I'm pretty sure the 7200 should be sufficent in handling these games...oblivion on the hand

dv6000z with the 6 cell should be around 2hrs with regular use. My 14"er lasts ~2.5hr on average, so with a larger screen and the Go 7200 GPU, the battery life will be a bit lower considering HP uses the same capacity battery.

I'm typing on my new 6000z. It just arrived this morning...been busy updating the drivers and erasing all this re-installed garbage...but I am HIGHLY impressed by the screen and the overall design so far! Just wondering does anyone know of if Nvidia has released any new drivers for the 7200?
