    Help! My laptop is making incessant noise

    The laptop is making this noise as if these dvd/media buttons are pressed constantly. Is there away to disable the sound? Thanks.

    you should be able to turn off button sound under advanced options in the BIOS (to get to BIOS press F10 on the HP Splash screen on boot)
