    Help! Need info on HDD adapter for my Compaq

    Alright, heres the issue

    I have a V6300 series and need the SATA HDD adapter for it

    i have the harddrive (bought aftermarket) and the stock caddy, but no adapter so I can't actually plug the HDD into the laptop.

    any ideas how to go about getting one? im kinda stuck here guys..

    The adapter is attached to the end of the factory SATA drive. You merely have to pull it off and put on the new drive (provided you did not buy an IDE drive)............

    I don't have the original drive. Bought it as a barebone on ebay and though I have the caddy (and a new drive), no adapter

    how would I go about getting a new adapter?

    anyone know how I can get this part? I'd hate to have to re-sell this on ebay just to buy another laptop over a single piece of plastic
