This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     this might sound like a dumb question, but i cant find the answer anywhere... where do i turn off fn lock??

    What do you mean by "Turn it off"? Did you hit the Fn Lock option? I think if you hit Fn+F1, it may unlock your system, that's if you hit Fn+F1 to start with.
    My Toshiba has a similar option, hit Fn+F1 & the screen goes blank, to bring the screen back, hit Fn+F1 again, but if you have a password setup in the Bios, you'd have to type the password after hitting Fn+F1 (may not prompt you for the password, but type it in on the blank screen & hit enter).
    This is only if you are having what I described, if not, please describe exactly what's happening to your system.
