I think the SD card eject spring in my envy 15 has failed-- the stupid card won't pop out, can't be pushed in at all, and doesn't stick out enough to grab with anything. What the heck do you do if this happens? Is there a place to stick a paper clip to manually eject it like old CD-ROM drives? Am I completely hosed and in need of warranty service just to get a memory card out?

Try a thin set of tweezers...and be sure to get it fixed!

Reminds me of the scenario I faced with dv4. LoL. But Envy has very short opening as compared to other models so it should be hard to pluck it out without scratching outside :(

First off LOL! ok, now the serious stuff... you could try a credit card to pry it out just stick it in there and wiggle it back

This happened to me several times when I was distracted and used a smaller SD card that I should have, all the times I used a flash light and a knife, the thinner the better.

A very tiny flathead screwdriver was able to catch the lip of the card. It also appears to have been just this particular card-- other cards still work, but this card gets stuck every time. Note to self: this card stays in the camera. Thanks for all the replies!
