I was using the computer today and then some Windows updates were going on and then a little while later Poof/!? My Conexant audio mixer was gone and then Windows looks like it is in classic from the 90's. It keeps changing when I reboot. I can't get the Audio mixer to stay online. It works for a bit then switches to no sound or mixer. I updated the drivers for it and it still does this later.
    What is going on?

Ok... on a more serious note.... Besides the look. My conexant drivers are up to date and I can't play anything. No music movies...nothing. They just keep defaulting to no mixer, no sound output.
    Anyone?

Ok... sorry Fixed it. Some microsoft update some how changed my display to windows classic view twice??? Then I updated a few things several times and the audio came back. That has happened before. I'll be glad when windows is done with all this crap.
    Thanks.

Windows...done? Goodness nooo, Windows will never ever be "done"...too much that needs fixing. Plus if they make the OS too well, who would need to buy the bug fixes, errrr....new versions?
