New to the forums, looks like I'm gonna like it here :) Alot of great info!

Ok, here's my issue. I've had this laptop for a few years and its being doing this for a long time, no real big problem but annoying at any rate..
Sometimes when I turn it on, it just won't boot up, screen doesn't turn on, HDD doesn't spin..pretty much all it does is sit there with the fan on. I then have to hold down the power button until it shuts off, then turn it back on. It may boot fine then or sometimes I have to do this 3,4, 5 times in a row to get it to boot up.
It started doing this around the time the HP system checkup had me update the bios. Its currently on the latest F.34 bios. I have reflashed it a number of times thinking maybe something didn't fully apply during the flash..
The only thing I've done to it hardware wise is upgrade the RAM to 2GB.
    Any ideas? Thanks :)
