    HOW TO FIX THIS PROBLEM
    THIS PROBLEM APPEARS WHEN I M INSTALLING GTA 4 EPISODES FROM LIBERTY CITY
    MY LAPTOP CONTAINS
    WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE 32 BIT
    CORE2DUO PROCESSOR

    Are you trying to install this through steam or through actual discs?

    I can try and install that tomorrow night and see what happens.

    I got my copy via steam so if you have the regular retail version I might not be able to actually help.

    You might be having problems with your firewall?
