My laptop is 3 years old. At 2 years right before the warrantee was over (I purchased 2 years warrantee), I had the battery replaced. The new battery seemed fine. The last few weeks I have hardly used my laptop. The last time I did, the battery died a little fast but not really out of the norm. I was watching mpg files and I thought the extra cpu usage drained it a little fast. It was at around 24 percent and I decided to let it go down to zero. I turned off all the power save features. I left it unplugged for a few days, never charged it back up til today. Well it stayed plugged in and never came off 0 percent. Considering it worked perfectly well and normal last time I used it, I dont want to believe its a bad battery. Is there a way to reset whatever is keeping it from charging?
I have the 12 cell battery.

It is not unusual for laptop batteries to stop working after a year.
