So I bought the "bargain" hp dv6338se yest. from best buy...

The thing is ****ing hot...very warm for something that is running minimal apps, and has only been turned on for a total of 20 mins

The beeping noise coming from the inside is driving me ****ing crazy, and I dont care to try and fix it, I'd rather return it.

The tech support is awful, and hung up on me 2 times today...

I want to return this P.O.S. BUT I've already registered it upon initial startup, and deleted some programs.

Is there anyway to restore the system/format it without a restore point and a restore disk?

    also
Can I "un register" the product ( I never submitted the application to the internet, but it was still filled out and prob saved somewhere on the HD?)

Thanks and please forgive me for my anger

    Jason

I doubt you need to do anything other than box everything up and take it back to Best Buy.

Pressing F11 during boot up(right after you see the HP splash screen) should take you to the recovery process and that should put the system back to default factory state.
