    Hello!
    Sorry for my english but i'm italian!
    I need of the dvd driver of my notebook.
    I've not find it on HP web site.
    The dvd is an HL-DT-ST DVD-RW GWA-4080N.

    Please help me!

    You shouldn't need a driver if Windows is installed correctly. Are you having issues? Perhaps a firmware and/or ide driver update if available will help. Also try some different discs as quality varies greatly. Good Luck.

    What is your firmware now? Did you contact the notebook maker as they are the most likely ones to have firmware upgrades. Laptops drives are usually sold OEM and do not get a lot of firmware support. I would not upgrade the firmware unless you are having a problem.

    My DVD-rom read good the dvd but not read the CD.
