I wanted to update my ATI CCC driver. So I downloaded the latest ccc, uninstalled from from my laptop, restarted, installed latest ccc, restarted. Now when I start windows 7 the little icon doesnt show up in the system tray. Does anyone know how to fix this?
BTW I have an ati mobility radeon 4200 on windows 7 x64.

So, did CCC actually install? If it did, then right click on desktop and open the CCC. From there, enabling the sys tray icon is easy. Go to options-> Preferences-> Enable the sys tray option.

When I right click on the desktop CCC is not there.

Reinstall the CCC suite again. This time try the custom installation and see if it works...

this time I just got the drivers from hp.com and installed them and it worked. I'll try your way and see if it works. Am I supposed to leave all the custom choices there or should I take some off?
