    Help me on Compaq Presario C736TU

    Dears! I bought a brand new Compaq Presario C736TU with Free Dos. I want to install windows XP because one of my software only works on it. Its about a week I am trying to install drivers but still not all done so finally I thought to seek your help. I am able to install Display drivers. The problem I am experiencing with Modem and Audio.

    I installed UAA sp33867.exe, after I installed Connexant Modem and Audio drivers. I am able to turn on Audio but volume is not controllable neither Mute is working, sure means to me driver is incorrect.

    Modem installed correctly but under diagnose it says unable to open port, again sure means to me incorrect driver.

    Please help me providing the correct sp files for UAA, modem and audio. If you think it another cause, please do help.

    Its a gud news for u all C733TU & C736TU users.

    I have found the solution for the audio problem (including the MIC) in the above laptop models. As I tested u hv to install Windows XP SP3. So u dont hv to install UAA Bus driver. Then download the drivers from the given link.
