Having a hard time figuring out how to swap a damaged HDD with a new one on this mini form factor Compaq EVO D5D case, it seems the case have a tab you press to release the HDD, CD-ROM or Floppy drive, but it seems everything is stuck inside, I can't slide the HDD or the floppy drive. On the second pic there is an identation on the inside of the casing when the device is attached and pressing the green tab at the top makes it flat so that supposedly you can slide it out but I don't know if this is how it's supposed to work.

    Here some pics.

First off, this is not a notebook so u got the wrong forum, but on first impressions it looks like the green pillar between the two caddies is spring-loaded so it looks like pops-up and maybe then releases the FDD & HDD but i would need more pictures to get a better understanding of the case design.

    yes, your right.

yes the green pillar is spring loaded at the bottom of the case, i just dont know why they wouldn't slide off easily. do you know a good forum to ask for this advice?
