    Hi guys

i am a DV5 (1009TX) user from Oz (but not aussie....so excuse language mistakes) .. i bought this laptop (against my better judgement...because i enjoy desktops for their upgradeability (not to mention the cost effectiveness of their upgrades) anyways....i wanted something along the lines of the DV5 (with the T9400/4GB/9600M GT [ouch] ) so that i could eke out some playability with GTA4..... which i am ...ok to say...that it is moderately playable till now on the low-middish visuals

thing is i wanted to modify this laptop to some degree (i do not want to rip out it's guts) and wanted your help

can we install a second SSD/HDD INTO the chassis of this laptop (DV5 aka 15"..ie would it have place to install another hdd internally)

if i were to install a 2/4GB SDHC class 6/4 card, would it be just as effective as a readyboost USB drive or a turbo mem from intel

is the turbo mem installable in this PC, i have 2 slots of PCIex1 available acc. to everest.. (i know HP doesn't like intel, and gave up support for this seemingly annoying tech....but just for mod's/bragging rights)

SSD as an express drive (any real experiences with it....cuz this would be a secondary option if i were not able to install it inside the chassis.... would it retain it's features (being bootable and fast) if it were to be used as such ( i have read a non techie review that PERHAPS it would not be quite so effective...but any thing you guys can tell)

    thank you all

    guys a little help

if the statement "do not want to rip out guts" is confusing let me reiterate

i wanted to install a secondary HDD into the chassis of the dv5, like having 02 HDD, is it possible...... cuz i cannot understand by everest, wether i have free ports for SATA devices or not...same goes for the pciex1 (for a turbo mem or something)

i am sorry if me dissing the latops, might have upset any of the members/mods....i was just being honest about it all, and have noticed a few users who have desktops and posting 3d mark scores amongst laptop users, so i assumed it was not to wrong to be honest about how expensive lappies are and how difficult it is for noobies like myself to do any mods as we see fit

so can any one help me out

DV5 does not have a place to install a 2nd HDD.

oh sugar, i assumed that just maybe there was an alternative

    what about the

2/4GB SDHC class 6/4 card, would it be just as effective as a readyboost USB drive or a turbo mem from intel

is the turbo mem/ intel Robson2 installable in this PC, i have 2 slots of PCIex1 acc. to Everest, are the truly available, and accessible
