Can anyone help me out with a step-by-step guide to do this? I'm sick of Win8 and it's just the updated version on WinME in my opinion. I'd like to install Windows7 Ultimate on it. I have the DVD for it and a license for it but I tried and its not working like normal.

    Please help...

PS... I know HP won't support it but someone pointed me to drivers for Win7 that are able to work with my system but I can't get it to work as far as installing Win7.

Windows8 sucks and it is meant for tablets and phones, NOT desktops and laptops but I guess MS will figure that out when Win8 bombs like WinME did!

But anyways... I went into the BIOS, disabled the enhanced boot deal (forget the name) and then tried to load Win7 but it won't take. I don't know exactly how to get it to be loaded on so I wanted to know if anyone has already done it on either an Envy dv6 or similar and can help me through it. I want to actually dual-boot it with Win7 and Linux.

So what exactly are you trying to do? Wipe the HD and then boot to a Win 7 CD-ROM. It's not difficult.
