Some things I am debating on.
    Should I go with
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo Processor P8400 (2.26 GHz) or pay 100 more for the 2.4 gh?

Should I stick with 2 gb of DDR2 memory or pay 150 for 4gb. Is it easily upgradable later on??

Whats the difference between the 160gb 5500rpm harddrive vs 7200. Is it worth paying 50 dollars more?

As soon as you guys respond. I will order it. When it sas build date, does that mean the day you should recieve it or the day they will ship it? Thanks everyone. -Mike

The processor speed increase will not help you unless you do a lot of HEAVY gaming or a lot of multimedia work.

4GB of RAM can be found for less @ NewEgg and our own RAM Deals thread. Buy there instead.

You are better off getting a higher capacity 5400RPM drive than a smaller capacity 7200RPM drive. If you can only pick between the two 160GB drives, then yes $50 for 7200RPM is an okay deal.

Build date is probably when they will ship it.

I'd stick with the P8400, instead of spending $100 more for the 2.4ghz. If you play games you'd be better off upgrading the graphics then the CPU. The graphics can be upgraded to a 9600M GT in that laptop.

Upgrade the the ram yourself if you know how later. It's not that hard though. If you have done it in a desktop, you could probably do it in a notebook too.

5400RPM HDDs are fine for laptops. Get which ever drive is the best deal for the money.
