    Hi everybody,

So I received my Envy14 today, and was going through and uninstalling some of the "bloatware" that came on the machine, referencing a thread from this site. However, I now noticed that whenever I adjust my volume with the keys along the top row, there is no longer a graphic that comes up showing me where my volume is. I was wondering if anyone knew what program it was that controlled this (Possibly HP mediasmart sound?), and where I would be able to get it again?

Also, the computer adjusts the microphone volume by 2% with each press of the button. Is there a way to change the value to say, 10% with every button press?

I hope I can get positive answers to both of my questions, and appreciate any input you all have here. Thanks!

there is a program called 3rvx which does the same thing with customizable skins (mac looking volume thing, envy them, etc...) You can find it in that bloatware thread i believe thats where i found the link as well.

AhHa! I have figured it out. Using the 3vrx software from the first reply (which works great, so thanks!), you can set the hot keys to the volume up/down/mute buttons, and then go in and customize what level% one click makes.

Just wanted to post it so that incase anyone else had a similar question, here would be an answer.
