    Looking for some help here!

I install the program on my fresh install of windows 7 but no HP profiles come up.

Any help?? What needs to be done in order to get hp power manager to work properly? Is there a sequence in which it needs to be installed?

There is no sequence for that. Have you checked this here: Click on battery icon in the taskbar>more power options>on the left side of the window the last option should be "HP Power Manager". By the way, you won't find this in the programs menu, it is located in the Control Panel.

Yeah I tried that. Whenever I click on that icon the program pops up and says "you are not currently using an HP profile". Then I click on one of the profiles and then yet another screen pops up saying "this will reset the plans back to hp defaults, do you want to continue?" If I click yes, the power plan then changes to high performance and the balanced option is deleted.

    Still no HP recommended plan...

    I just don't get it... :(
