    I have an issue with my notebook.. when i hit the "zero" key, the number "zero" moves to the beggining of the line! the down button also leaves this"]". i just recieved a new keyboard and installed it thinking this was the issue. i also reformatted, reinstalled, etc..etc.. just cant fix it!

    please help. hp tech couldnt solve my issue!

    Seems like the keyboard settings are set to a different language set up. You using XP?

    Yes, using xp pro... only seems to be the "0" key and the down arrow. everything else is working perfectly. I attached usb keyboard, and everything was fine with that, reinstalled my recovery disk, reformatted first, and just installed new keyboard on it today.. hp was no help.

    example of problem..
    when i type "11990" , it comes out "01199"

    That is...strange. Especially the "0" issue.
