    Help with On Screen Pop Ups!!

    Hey guys,

    Just have a quick question about my Envy 15 3040nr now that I switched out the Intel SSD and swapped in a larger 256 Crucial M4. I did a clean install, and I am currently missing 1 driver under the "other Devices" category: PCI Device.

    Next, I cannot find this driver, the onscreen utility one that pops up when you change volume or brightness (sp55152.exe I believe) since it no longer shows up on HP's website.


    Also, does anyone know of a good search function like Linux or Mac? For example, I want to be able to hit a general shortcut/macro and type in diablo and auto run diablo 3 :D

    The Windows Start menu can kind-of do that. Not always the program you are looking for though.

    Don't know if the link works, maybe you tried it already.

    Yep, think it's broken. Copied this part of the HP FTP listings and the 55152.exe just doesn't show up for now--maybe an update on the way?

    yea tried it already and even just searched for the driver on google. sadly, I just cant find it. I am tempted to install 3rvx like I have on my envy 14, but then it will lack the brightness control.

    also, yea I kinda do use the windows search, but I remember there was a search program that was similar to linux/mac OS that I used to have. Just cant remember it :/
