    Help with V5000 disassembly

    I've managed to remove all the screws (mind you some are blue tac'd), and completely unhinge the black back all around the silver frame. The darn black back stil won't come off! Any sugestions?

    Thanks for the link! Didn't expect that level of detail available to the end user for free. Some fokes still sell old Compaq service manuals... I assumed that v5000 was not amongst them because it was too new. :eek:

    I found what I didn't do. I needed to slip a screwdriver under the top of the keyboard.
