My display backlight goes completly black when i change the power setting to power saver or balanced, I can then turn it up with the function key + f8, but it didn't do this before? ..............and it does it when plugged in or on battery power. anyone have any ideas why it is doing this all the sudden?

I didn't figure out why it did it , but i fixed it by doing a hard reset...........i unplugged it and removed the battery and held down the power button for 1 min. :)
